What happened to the Python rect class?

In Google Search, I found this article:

http://docs.python.org/release/1.4/lib/node201.html

As shown by examples of using the rect class to perform union / intersection / check if points are inside rect. Import errors in Python 2.7. Is this class in another package?

I guess the question is not really “what happened to it?”, But “where can I find a class that I can use?”.

Most GUI libraries have a class. For example: wx.Rect , a QRect / QRectF , , PyGame the rect .

, , Sympy, a Geometry, .
