Single COM Object Required

Is it possible to create a single instance of a COM object and make sure that all subsequent calls from any client will be made only for this single instance?

Note that you will have to make your COM object run Out-of-process (exhibited by the EXE).

Do you really need the same COM object that is used everywhere? Or just want to control the same basic resources from one checkpoint?
