Will jQuery work on the "website" distributed on the CD?

Unfortunately, I need to make a website (so to speak, a website) that can be placed on a CD. My question is: can I use JavaScript and jQuery?

Some of the people who get the CD may install IE6 on Win XP.

Thank.

You can put the site on a CD, and javascript / jquery should work fine. But be careful that you can only have static resources: each request must be for a physical asset that exists on the CD. I will not be able to dynamically display pages in response to a request, and I am sure that you will also not be able to make ajax requests.

Yes. jQuery explicitly supports IE6, and IE6 supports JavaScript (it would have to, otherwise jQuery would not be able to support it), although it does have some errors.
