Virtuemart does not send mail

I have something strange, I installed Joomla, and all the mail functions work in the form of a contact ... but in virtuemart after ordering something is NOT sent by mail, and not to the one who orders, but not to the owner, ... any hints?

At first, I would try to change the mail settings to SMTP in the global configuration, although if you work with standard contact formats, it could be something else, for example, a wrong setting in Virtuemart settings or even your email account that blocks email as spam

Virtuemart processes the procedure for sending mail due to order status. Check the selected values:

configuration → checkout → Default order status for sending email to the customer

configuration → checkout → Default order status for sending email to a vendor
