Can I use UILongPressGestureRecognizer with touch events like touchhesMoved?

If I add an object UILongPressGestureRecognizerto an object, is there a way to get an event touchesMovedin that object to fire it after my longGesture selector responds to a longpress gesture without trying to raise my finger first?

What I see is that when the selector recognizes a long gesture, events touchesMovedwill not respond until you remove your finger from the object. In other words, you cannot press, pause, move.

Is this possible with a gesture recognizer, or is this the only way to do this with a touch and hold approach.

Hope this makes sense.

Thank.

Instead of relying on a method touchesMoved, you can add UIPanGestureRecognizeralong with UILongPressGestureRecognizeryour presentation.
