I wonder how the STDERR handle works? Let's keep it down to say batch files so it is simple and focused? I know that many programming languages ββaccept STDERR, so I donβt know if they can be used in different ways, or maybe there is a common function for all programming languages?
If someone can provide some common use examples that you saw, or an explanation of why someone could use it for ??? a situation that would be amazing.
Thanks in advance!
Normally you should use stderr for error messages.
, stdout / stderr
:
myprogram.exe > stdout.txt
, myprogram.exe, stdout stdout.txt. , stderr, stdout.txt. , .
STDERR . , , . , , , , STDOUT. , ( ).
