How to connect to parent report in SSRS

I have several reports with granularity, and now I was asked to add palette style navigation to the report so that the user can access the parent report again without using the litte 'back' button.

I was wondering if there is an easy way to do this? Currently, I could not find anything on websites.

My solution right now is to pass the parameters of the parent report to its descendant, and then return the link to the report using these parameters, however this is really not an ideal solution.

thank

Similar to what peter suggested, but using the "Go to report" option in the "Action" option (right-click on "<> Action โ†’ Go to report).

After adding a report that you should go to, DO NOT FORGET to add the parameter necessary for the report (the one you are going to), this works in preview mode, as well as after deployment.

Hope this helps.
