Are asp.net and .net versions the same? or are the versions of asp.net or clr the same?

this was my previous question hi, I'm new to the network. can it say that the .net version and the asp.net version are different. this is the clr version, and the asp.net version has something to do with it. How can I get asp.net version from registry. Can anyone give me a list of versions. but I am confused by this link to SO- see Varun answer

he said the asp.net version and the clr version are the same, and the framework.net version is different. I also tried to see the installed version of asp on my machine using aspnet_regiis.exe, it gives the same version number as for clr (2.0 and 4.0). I also saw the aspnet_isapi.dll file only in the folder versions 2.0 and 4.0. this means that the version number of clr and asp.net are the same. no asp.net version 3.0 and 3.5 ??? I was pretty relaxed with guffa's answer, but seeing this, I am confused, can anyone help me find out the asp.net version and .netframework version are the same? or is the asp.net version and clr version the same? an answer with an official link will be very useful.
