Eclipse does not remember my open files

My problem is very simple: whenever I close the eclipse and open it again, it does not remember my open files. He remembers the state of windows and perspectives, but not the files. For a long time I worked on this silence, searched the Internet, looked at prefs and collected streams, but I couldn’t. Even when reinstalling the new version (Ganymede-> Helios), the problem persists; I also tried removing "workbench.xml" and eclipse rebuilt it with the same result.

Take a peek: Window → Settings → General → Editors and check if the editors automatically close automatically. If so, clear the check box.
