Move to eclipse Indigo?

Now that the new version of eclipse is disabled, should I switch to it immediately? If my plugins work in Galileo, will it work in indigo?

There is no way to find out without trying or studying what the individual plugin providers indicate regarding their compatibility with Indigo. Many plugins will work just fine. Some will not.

I would recommend starting a separate Indigo installation next to your Galileo work installation. Then install the plugins in the new installation one at a time. If everything is installed and seems to work, you can safely proceed. If this is not the case, you will find out which plugins are incompatible. Perhaps a newer version exists or is in the way.

I plan not to switch until SR2 is available. There have been some minor bugs in the newer versions of Eclipse in the past, and I don’t see the big benefits of Indigo for my daily work.
