Which apn_on_rails fork is better for rails3?

I am using apn_on_rails to send an Apple Push notification from the rails3 web application.

I use fork https://github.com/natescherer/apn_on_rails , but I noticed that there are a few more recent forks.

Has anyone tried the other forks? Any suggestion?

The Natescherer rails 3 branch worked well when I used it, it is still deprecated, although it was not affected after a while. I would recommend checking apn_sender https://github.com/kdonovan/apn_sender , it is more fully presented and updated, and redis is neat!
