Run jenkins as user "hudson"

we upgraded hudson to jenkins and have several dependencies on the hudson user we used.

Now that we run jenkins (works great), we would like it to work as the “hudson” user, to keep our other processes intact, without overwriting them.

We found instructions on how to do this before installing jenkins, but we have already passed this point. Jenkins is installed and running. Is there a way to let jenkins work as a "hudson" user?
