PDF Editing in iOS - Combining FastPDFKit / CGPDFContext and libHaru

Question

I am trying to add PDF annotations to an existing PDF file in iOS.

I understand that using FASTPDFKit / CGPDFContext, you can READ (but DO NOT CHANGE) almost all of the information from an existing PDF file (correct me if I am wrong).

I also understand that using libHaru is a piece of cake for creating annotations in a new PDF file. But libHaru does not support reading existing PDF files.

Is there any restriction combining these 2 libraries so that I can add annotations to an existing PDF file?
