AmazonS3 GetPreSignedUrlRequest max Expiration Date

I am creating pre-signed URLs using the AmazonS3.NET SDK. They worked fine, but now they have stopped working. I used an expiration date of around 2038 because I wanted to make them as permanent as possible. I used 2038 because this date is an era date and there is a 2038 issue ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Year_2038_problem ). The SDK does not limit you to a date, but it seems that when accessing the URL it gives you access with the following message:

<Message>Invalid date (should be seconds since epoch): 2147500800</Message>

Does anyone know if there are restrictions on the expiration date?
