Can we upload photos from the phone’s camera using HTML5

Hi guys, can we only upload photos from the phone’s camera with pure HTML5? Can we use Spring Mobile to develop html5 applications?

You can take photos on Android phones and upload them using the built-in Chrome browser. I tested it on Android 2.0 and higher. In iOS 3.X, iOS 4.X, iOS 5.X, this option is disabled inside the Safari browser (thanks for the comments on this question). On iOS 6.X, this works as expected.
