Text Finish: None; ignored in Outlook 2007

Is there a way to make work text-decoration:none;for the links in the newsletter when viewed in Outlook 2007? I tried the built-in styles in the head and body, applying directly to anchor tags and combinations of all three. Outlook 2007 still displays underlining for all links independently. All around? Thanks

This can be avoided like this:

<a href="#"><strong style="font-weight:normal">text here</strong></a>

put the text in a strong tag and then reset to the normal font weight.

Try to snap the tag <span>inside the tag <a>. Use the following code snippet:

<a href="#" style="text-decoration:none;"><span style="text-decoration:none;">Click Here</span></a>

I am sure that every email client ignores or passes your css. Outlook 2007 may be trimming text to show the client that this is a link.

My solution for Outlook 2007:

<a href=""><span style="text-decoration:none">Text of the link</span></a>

But actually the code that I use for my case is this:

<a href=""><strong><em><span style="text-decoration:none">Text of the link</span></em><strong></a>
