Creating Illustrator Overlays in SVG

When I load my layered SVG files into Illustrator, all the layers work as they should, but they are always located under a new layer; "Level 1", which I did not indicate.

How to create an SVG where my top layers are also included in the top layer in Illustrator?

  • Create a file in Illustrator that has the organization as you want.
  • Save the SVG from Illustrator as "a.svg".
  • Reopen the SVG file in Illustrator.
Hey, all my layers regrouped under layer 1!
  • Correct the organization.
  • SVG Illustrator " Illustrator", "b.svg".
