Regular expression - no special characters

Question

I use regex to verify username

^[a-zA-Z]+\.[a-zA-Z]{4,10}^'

Unfortunately, this does not affect if the value contains special characters, such as !@#$%^&*)(':;

I would be happy to receive help for Regex, which contains:

• Alphanumeric Only ( a-zA-Z0-9)
• Length between 4 - 10 characters.
