Why does Safari seem to have a problem with the css: fixed position?

I am working on this site: http://www.mywebclass.org/~jeff/ . A large percentage of ui is built with the position: fixed ;. On all browsers except Safari, this is great. But in Safari, everything went bad. Is there any way to fix this?

Do you have position:fixeda number of elements, but you have not installed any of the top, left, right, or bottomto tell the browser where they should be located. The browser is left to guess (within the limit) what you mean if you do not specify a position, and different browsers guess different things. The solution is to add properties left, and topto all of your items position:fixed.
