I use the built-in .net 4 chart class, and I just can't find a way to remove the grid lines in the chart. Is there any way to do this? And one more question: how to increase the thickness of the graph lines?
Thank:)
I believe that the width of the string can be changed using BorderWidthand BorderDashStyleseries.
BorderWidth
BorderDashStyle
For the grid lines, try to play with MajorGrid, MinorGrid, MajorTickMark, MinorTickMarkand Intervalon the axis.
MajorGrid
MinorGrid
MajorTickMark
MinorTickMark
Interval
Chart1.ChartAreas["ChartArea1"].AxisX.MajorGrid.Enabled = false; Chart1.ChartAreas["ChartArea1"].AxisY.MajorGrid.Enabled = false;
This will remove the grid lines from chartarea.
with the selected chart, go to its settings menu and click on chartes (collection) .go on Axes (collection), clicking on it will open a new menu. You will find grid settings in gridtickmarks-majorgrid. with this you can change / delete the grid without the need for code.
