How to smooth the screen to zero, not inconsistent FLAG_KEEP_SCREEN_ON

Question

I found several ways to smooth the screen, but I'm not sure how they work together with FLAG_KEEP_SCREEN_ON :

• Settings .System.SCREEN_BRIGHTNESS
• IHardwareService.setScreenBacklight ()
• WindowManager.LayoutParams.screenBrightness

Which of the above methods will the screen contain, even if I set the brightness to 0.0 ?
