How can I list updatable Cabal packages in the style of `apt-show-versions`?

I was wondering if there is a way (either an existing command, or a script shell or similar) to list the registered GHC packages for which hackers have an updated version. Something in style apt-show-versions, for example:

attoparsec upgradeable from 0.9.0.0 to 0.9.1.1
base uptodate at 4.3.1.0
...

You can use caband then do

% cab sync
% cab outdated
