Yesterday I talked with a colleague-coper, and jQuery came up - he never met jTemplates or ever thought that something like this might exist ...
It made me wonder - how many more incredibly useful functions exist in jQuery that are not used, because there are quite affordable alternatives?
I hope this issue does not close. I know that it does not correspond to the modern paradigm of the QA stack, but I think this can become a useful resource, and such questions were usually common, therefore C # , javascript , etc. have similar suggestions.
I'll start with the obvious:
Selectors Should I talk more?
Appearance modifiers . Various visual effects that can be easily applied to DOM elements. See here .
jQuery UI is especially useful when combined with ThemeRoller . There are also many widgets and interactions. So far, I have only used the Dialog and Slider elements , which are perfectly executed. See here .
.ajax , and these are options (.get () ,. load (), etc.). It makes all the pain of creating ajax requests. See here .
.live Attach an event handler to all elements that match the selector now and in the future! Genius! See here .
jTemplates. jQuery.tmpl(), html- . .
