Can an Android app have a different name depending on the language / media?

Question

In Android, you can use different resources depending on the language or media. The application name specified in the manifest may refer to a string from these resources.

I am wondering:

• Will this work? Will the application name change depending on the language / media?
• How will the name be displayed on the market? Will the Market app display user settings and display the correct name? What name will be used in the web version of Market?
