Can we update the data in the view

Question

• Can we update the data in the view. If so, it will reflect the data in the actual table.
• Is it possible to delete a table if there is a view created in this table?

Can anyone explain this stuff to me. I am confused with the above concepts.

• The view always reflects the underlying data of the table. There are rules and exceptions for updating through views, so see "Updating Views" in CREATE VIEW

• Yes. To prevent this, use WITH SCHEMABINDING in the view (see link above)
