I am looking for an alternative to Microsoft Access with similar capabilities. I.e:
In another matter, it is recommended to use VS Lightswitch (still in beta 2). I looked at him, although he seems good, but at this stage he still remains completely new and not supported.
My main goal is to have a database that is simple, portable, and can be easily accessed (basically, 1 person at a time, and sometimes several people). I know Access can provide this, and if that seems like a better solution, I can stick with it, but is there anything else that someone found useful for custom data capturing, filtering and reporting?
I know that Visual Studio or the like can be used, but will prefer something more in accordance with Access.
