Setting limitctl limit maxfiles 512 unlimited results by mistake: neither hard nor soft limit for "maxfiles" can be unlimited

Screenshot of my terminal http://d.pr/1pE5

I follow this guide:

http://blog.ghostinthemachines.com/2010/01/19/mac-os-x-fork-resource-temporarily-unavailable/

And where he tells me to follow the process that I follow in the screenshot:

[laptop:~ user]$ launchctl limit maxproc 512 1024

[laptop:~ user]$ launchctl limit maxfiles 512 unlimited

[laptop:~ user]$ launchctl limit

I am trying to do the following setup:

launchctl limit maxfiles 512 without limits

My system (Leo) tells me what I am doing wrong and stupid, but it is already installed indefinitely ... so I don’t know what is happening, or why it behaves this way.

Should I just go and give it a certain meaning?
