Loading jquery library - stored in browser cache?

If I continue to reload the page using jquery from a site hosted on Google. Does this mean that it will always load the library? Or the browser does not know, since it previously downloaded it.

Most modern browsers know that they should not be downloaded. Check out the jQuery CDN in the console and you will see this.

304 Not changed.

This means that the library is loading from the cache.

The whole reason for using the version hosted by Google is that if the browser downloaded it there by visiting any other site, it will use a cached copy instead of downloading one of your sites.

So just the answer: yes, it will use the one that was previously loaded, if not to update the cache (e.g. ctrl + f5 in chrome)
