Exclude a specific subdirectory from SVN Checkout in a subheading

The problem is pretty simple, I'm just not very good at these tools (or CVS in general).

Each project branch contains 4 folders:

branch-1
    folder1
    ...
    folder4
branch-2
    folder1
    ...
    folder4
...

folder4 is ginormous (~ 2 GB), contains things that usually don’t interest me, and I would not download them every time - it lasts forever and takes up space.

I see that in the "Checkout from SVN" dialog box there is a Depth field with parameters:

  • Completely recursive
  • Direct children, including folders
  • Kids files only
  • Only this item

None of these options are what I want. 1 and 2 will load folder4, and 3 and 4 will skip everything.
