Location of attachments in JIRA

Where does JIRA save ticket related investments? I want to backup only screen images and documents found on my JIRA website. Does it save it in MySQL BLOB column types?

According to JRA-23758 (now a duplicate of JRA-19873 ):

In the current state, attachments in JIRA are stored inside the attachments / project name in the hierarchy below:

- attachments
 |- project-name
   |- issue key

This is really a problem:
