The power of MigLayout is compressed like a GridBagLayout for hidden objects

I'm trying to replace GridBagLayoutwith MigLayout. The problem is that if I call obj.setVisible(false)for some object in GridBagLayout, the layout is compressed. But in MigLayouthe remains hidden. Do you know how to make MigLayoutacting like GridBagLayout?

Take a look at the "hidemode" property in the Cheat Sheet MigLayout here:

You probably want new MigLayout("hidemode 3")
