Why did touch events on my YUI slider suddenly stop working?

I had a site using YUI 3 sliders that worked perfectly for ages. About two weeks ago, I showed my friend my site on my phone, and it worked perfectly.

Then, about a week ago, I showed it to another friend, again using my phone, and the thumbs on the slider did not move. Something has changed and they no longer respond to touch events on my phone.

On the computer, when using the mouse, the thumb is dragged. Everything works perfectly.

It is only on devices where the interface requires a touch that I cannot move my thumbs. I tested on two Android devices, iPhone and iPad.

Javascript loads as it displays the slider. I can click on the guide of the slider and the thumb will move to this position, so it’s not like the touch events completely disappeared.

However, as far as I can tell, it is impossible to touch the thumb and drag it onto a mobile device using the touch screen.

I tried a week to find out what I could change, but I just can't solve it.

Can someone look at this page and let me know why touch events do not work?

Please note that I tried to make this version that was removed to provide only the minimum necessary to demonstrate the problem, but there may be some odd pieces of irrelevant code.

Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks for your time and help.
