CamelCase is often used in programming languages (method names in C #, names of public methods in Java, etc.). This is quite simple to do in English: you simply combine the words and capital letters of the first letter of each of them: DisplayName, InternalName.
However, the German language, in many cases, supports complex nouns. For example, " Anzeigename " ( DisplayName) is the only noun, but " Internet-name " ( InternalName) is not. So, the last case is easy to carry: It InternerName, like the CamelCase rules in English. What about the first case? It could be

Anzeigenameto match German grammar, or - use
Anzeigenameto match the appearance of CamelCase and other *Name-s that are not separate nouns.
Are there any recommendations or a well-established practice?
I understand that just using English names solves this problem quite easily, but it is sometimes not possible when developing domain-specific software, or when configuration files should be accessible to people by people without good English skills. It just doesn't make sense to write an English translation for Umsatzsteuervoranmeldung when you are sure that the software will only be used in a German context ...
