Mac-like text rendering on Windows?

I'm trying to figure out how to render text on Windows with the same display as the text highlighted by Mac, for example: http://igadgetlife.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/11.png (This image is not perfect, but it demonstrates the neat smoothing that the Mac has)

I looked at GDI ++ / Freetype and it seems too unstable and lacks documentation. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. The reason I ask is because I am trying to create a writing program where the readability of the text and the display of the text are two important factors.

thank

The solution is to use gdipp to override the default font creation mechanism on Windows. Just download the latest package from your Google Project page and double click to install it.

It will be automatically installed as a service. If you have not noticed any changes in the way the fonts are rendered, open Run → Type services.msc → Right-click gdipp → Click Start .

You may need to restart your computer once so that all programs begin to respect the gdipp rendering engine.

: MacType. , . Chrome.
