What is the difference between partialSubmit and autoSubmit in JSF?

I think I knew the difference, but now I'm confused .: P

Both of them seem to do the same thing, except that it is partialSubmitused on submit buttons to submit a form using AJAX, and it is autoSubmitused for editable components that present only their own content. Am I saying it right?
