Does anyone have a Debian "hello world" package for D source code?

Question

I am writing a D application that I want to pack as a Debian package.

Does anyone know a tutorial or skeleton pack to show me how to do this for app D?

Do I need to use autotools to build it?

If you know of any packaged D application, you can get the package source:

apt-get source the-package-name

If you added an entry deb-srcto your .list source.
