How to access a shared folder without specifying a username and password

I shared one folder with “Everyone” on machine 1 and tried to access the folder from another computer. It asks for the username and password of machine 1. I access the shared folder from Path> // shared folder path.

I am using windows 7 machines.

Is there a way to access the shared folder without specifying a username and password.

I found one way to access the shared folder without specifying a username and password.

We need to change the protection settings for public folders on the computer where the folder was divided.

Go to Control Panel> Exchange and Exchange Center> Change Advanced Sharing Settings> Enable the option to disable password protection sharing.

By performing the above settings, we can access the shared folder without a username / password.

You need to go to user accounts and enable the guest account, by default it is disabled. After that, you share any folder and add the guest account to the list of users who can access this specific folder, this also includes disabling password protection in the "Advanced sharing settings"

Another way to do this when you enter the password only once is to join the Homegroup. if you have a network of 2 or more computers, all of them can connect to the home group and get access to all the files that they need from each other, and everyone outside the group needs a password once to have access to your network, it was entered in windows 7.
