Is there an add-on made just like Pixel Perfect for firefox or chrome?

Doesn’t work anymore on FF6 and seams that they won’t update, are there any existing add-ons or ways to do the same what did this addition do?

About this add-on

When you turn the composition on and off, the developer can visually see how many pixels they are in development.

Pixel Perfect also has an opacity option so you can view the HTML below the composition. With the ability to see both composition and HTML, you can now use Firebug at the same time, and Pixel Perfect is still in action.

For Google Chrome, try the "PerfectPixel by WellDoneCode" extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/dkaagdgjmgdmbnecmcefdhjekcoceebi

IMHO is the best analogue of PP in the Chrome Web Store.

Yes, there is an alternative, and this is a cross browser and future proof:

body {
  background-image: url(design.jpg);
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-position: top center; /* adjust to whatever you like. */
  opacity: 0.6; /* see through the page */
}

Of course, a plugin such as PixelPerfect is good, but if you encounter errors or other problems with it, then it is not worth it.
