Oracle entity in VS object structure does not update primary key in code

I have an object called Tree that has the primary key Id (with StoreGeneratedPattern = Identity), which when using the following code correctly inserts into the database.

   using(TestContainer tss = new TestContainer())
   {
      Tree tree = new Tree()
      {
         Name = "TestTree"
      };

      tss.Trees.AddObject(tree);
      tss.SaveChanges();
   }

I have a support sequence + trigger to handle a primary key id with auto-add. I checked that this is really inserted correctly in the database.

The call tss.Refresh(System.Data.Objects.RefreshMode.StoreWins, tree);does not update the object (the 'Id' field is 0). Any ideas?
