Can you ignore specific versions of strongly named links?

Question

I am making some additions to a product that has strongly named links. If I select false in a specific version, the program complains that the link has already been set.

Is it possible to ignore specific strongly named links?

You cannot ignore it, but you can redirect the request from one version to another.

The property is Specific Versionapplicable only to references to assemblies that do not have a strong name.
