Does anyone use Python for GS1 XML and AS2 EDI?

Question

I help some manufacturing companies link their EDI systems using GS1 XML specifications (this is an international specification for companies that transfer things like purchase orders, invoices, barcodes, etc. http: //en.wikipedia .org / wiki / GS1 ).

There are many Big Iron solutions and many Java and C # solutions, and even a couple in PHP. But I did not find any projects in Python.
