The problem is working hello world with tornado web server (Python 2.5, Win 7)

I am using Python 2.5 on Windows 7 (64 bit).

I installed pycurl-7.15.5.1 (with binary beans) and a tornado (using pip).

When I run the following hello world code:

import tornado.ioloop
import tornado.web

class MainHandler(tornado.web.RequestHandler):
    def get(self):
        self.write("Hello World!")

if __name__=='__main__':
    app = tornado.web.Application([(r"/",MainHandler),])
    application.listen(8888)
    tornado.ioloop.IOLoop.instance().start()

I get the following error: -

The Tornado seems to have IPv6 confusion. You can fix this by specifying the IP address that you want to listen to as follows:

application.listen(8888,'127.0.0.1')

or maybe

application.listen(8888,'0.0.0.0')
