Wkhtmltopdf vs fpdf and usage and performance issues (HTML for PDF)

I was unable to find answers to my questions on several posts on the same topic, so I will ask more specific questions here.

My questions are about wkhtmltopdf and fpdf. I need one of them to create a 1-page invoice (really a basic project) and 1 page of reports (a basic design), so there are very small documents in PDF format.

I read that most people recommend wkhtmltopdf because of its performance, but for small 1-page documents, does this really matter vs fpdf? Does it consume less memory? Faster?

I know this is a stupid question, but I also need to know if wkhtmltopdf can be executed several times in a row. I mean, if there are 1000 users on my site who are trying to save their account in PDF at the same time? Is there a limit to how it works? I know that fpdf is a php class, so I don’t need to “worry” about it (I only need the correct php.ini configuration, I think).

What would you suggest? For small PDF documents, but high performance, to be able to handle many requests simultaneously.

Are there any other options?

Thank you for your help!
