The best way to build multiple filters in rails

Question

I want to create dynamic filters with rails for one of my models, but I don’t know how to do it.

My en Event model is of type Continent , Country and Month .

So, I want to be able to find an event with several filters. For example, "All events in Europe were found during the month of February."

What is the best way to do this. Do I need to make the findByfilter function in my event model?
