Add new paperclip style does not affect old uploaded images

Question

I have a company model with a logo

has_attached_file :logo

I have created many companies with their logos.

Now I need to add a new style

has_attached_file :logo, :styles => { :small => "30x15>", :medium => "155x85>" }

Should I reload all my old data to restore new styles? I don’t think so .... Or maybe some kind of rake task can regenerate styles?

See Thumbnail-Generation . If the rake task does not work for you, you should be able to use the fragment in the console to invoke processing! the companies in question
