Drag and Drop on iPad

Question

I have a webpage with jQuery drag and drop function. It works on all desktop browsers, but not on the iPad. One way or another, the event click + dragis fixed to move the page up and down.

So, how is drag and drop typically done on the iPad without writing any iPad apps?

You cannot use mouse events ... you need to change to touch events

One way is to separate both codes using a mobile platform like jQTouch, jQMobile, etc.
