Android screen sizes and screen density

I am considering abandoning the support of small screens in my application.

I recently came across Screen Size and Density and currently (2011-10-01) says that 3.5 percent of active devices fall into the small / hdpi category. I wonder which device actually has a small screen with a high pixel density?

I know HTC Wildfire, which has 240 x 320 pixels, 3.2 inches (~ 125 pixels per pixel). If I understood correctly, this will be an ldpi device. For my application, Wildfire has a share of about 2%.

So, firstly, why doesn't the screen size and density list anything under small / ldpi? And secondly, what will be an example of a small device / hdpi?

There are several devices from Dell, such as Aero, that are under small / hdpi.

HTC Tattoo can be seen under small / ldpi

Just add Basavraj to the answer. Guess the screen size is not so simple. As in the case of the galaxy, the screen size is 1200 X 800, but the screen size falls in a large (and not very large) category.
