I am making an application on iphone, and I need a way to determine the melody of sounds coming through the microphone. (Ie A #, G, C ♭ etc.), I assumed that I would use AVAudio, but I really do not know, and I can not find anything in the documentation.
Any help?
Musical notes are nothing but certain frequencies of sound. You will need a way to analyze all frequencies in your input signal, and then find a way to isolate individual notes.
