We have an application that sends automatic email notifications to our users.
These emails come from an unanswered address, such as " no-reply@blah.com ".
The problem occurs when attachments added to automatic emails exceed the recipient's mail server limit, for example. 8 MB or 10 MB.
Is there a way in .NET to detect this to happen? If the answer comes to the answer saying that there is a failure because the limit has been exceeded, which is not ideal because this address is never verified.
Is there a way to determine if this will be a problem before sending emails?
I suppose the main problem is that the email size limit can be set, so we don’t know what it will be for a particular organization.
