PHP $ _SESSION can contain large files?

I am creating a multi-page form with PHP. I store most of the value in $ _SESSION. Using the following method ...

It has been working fine so far, but I'm not sure if it will be able to store PDF files, videos, etc.

Are there only lines and intigers or files in $ _SESSION that can be saved there?

$_SESSION stored on the server in the folder where it is defined in php.ini

since there is space on your server, you can store anything on $_SESSION
